,As we head into February, the month of love! I’m happy to share some new paint and sip collections exclusively from my art hero Michelle Iglesias. You might have seen a few already from her Patreon collection. I’m a huge fan! I’ll be spending a week in paradise painting alongside other artists with an incredibly gifted teacher. I can’t wait to share with you everything that I have learned. It’s jammed packed with at least two painting classes per day! You see, as artists – we never stop learning. This year, I’ll continue to grow and challenge myself by learning new techniques outside my comfort zone and giving you the opportunity to create exclusive paintings of Michelle’s collection that I hope will continue to inspire you to paint. We will be incorporating more drawing into the art process. Don’t worry about learning to draw- it’s a simple and fun way to improve your painting. We will use chalk first to draw in certain elements to elevate our artwork. If you make a mistake, it’s totally fine- we can erase the chalk and begin again. Once you get the hang of drawing, you will wonder why you haven’t been doing it sooner! Of course, I’ll still be creating my own freestyle artwork but wanted to give you a taste of what it’s like to paint alongside a legend in the paint and sip community. In addition to learning new techniques, I’ve been experimenting with everyday items like spoons (Wildflowers) on how to create unique expressions of artwork. I’ll continue the popular painting of your pet and will add a paint your partner for Valentines Day, as an introduction to portraits that will result in laughter so hard that your face might hurt! I’ll continue to paint at my favorite locations (you know who you are) and I’ve added some new locations for 2025 that I know you will love! Each venue offers a new experience of food and drink to expand your palette. It is my hope that you will continue to create for the love of paint and that you will join me at our social art gatherings in places (new and old) that feel like home amongst friends and family. I hope that these new techniques and social experiences will broaden your painting passion. I thought I had the best job painting but it’s sharing with you these new techniques and locations. I’ve also developed a new love of food and taste testing these new locations for you. It’s hard work and I’ve gained five pounds, but I’m willing to take one for the team! See you soon!
